PROFESSOR  IFESIEH, EMEKA, URGED DTS GRADUANDS TO BE GOOD AMBASSADORS OF THE SEMINARY

In a compelling address at DTS 3rd Convocation  Ceremony held on 20th March, 2026,  the Keynote Speaker Professor  Ifesieh, Emeka, from Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria, urged gospel ministers and graduating students to embrace and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. He  emphasized that true Christian ministry is rooted in the divine empowerment provided by the Holy Spirit.

Professor Ifesieh stressed the need for graduates to embody integrity, professionalism, and service as they interact with people in a wider world. Drawing from his extensive experience in academia and  gospel ministry, he urged the graduates to serve as  ambassadors of DTS wherever they go.

Drawing on personal anecdotes from his career, Professor Ifesieh shared insights on resilience and continuous learning. He recounted how perseverance through challenges played a pivotal role in his professional achievements and encouraged graduates to adopt a growth mindset.

Finally, Professor Ifesieh challenged each graduate to act as a catalyst for positive change within their communities. He expressed confidence that DTS has equipped its students with not just technical competence but also spiritual fortitude necessary for leadership roles in society.

Apostle Gold Sunday Chukwuemeka, the  Chancellor of DTS, who is also the current Head of Department: History, Strategic and International Studies, Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba, Nigeria,  emphasized the need for gospel ministers to depend solely on God in their pastoral duties. Drawing from biblical scriptures and his extensive personal experience in ministry, he urged upcoming ministers to maintain unwavering faith in God’s sovereignty amid an increasingly complex religious landscape.

The esteemed University Don and religious leader  stressed that  it is important for pastors to cultivate a deep relationship with God through prayer, fasting, and diligent study of His Word.” His words echoed a timeless truth: that spiritual power can be received through reliance on divine support rather than human effort.

Drawing from his own journey in theological education and pastoral leadership—the Chancellor shared insights on  how dependence on God has been instrumental during challenging times. He recounted instances where prayer and faith had turned seemingly insurmountable obstacles into opportunities for divine intervention. He enjoined all gospel ministers who are selling indulgences for a living  to desist from  it and rely on God for provision of their needs.

The Rector of the Seminary, Professor Dr Joselito  Aquid, in his address, expressed pride in the accomplishments of the graduates.  He stressed that the graduates have been moulded by the Word of God, nurtured by the spirit of love and unity, and challenged to embrace the true gospel, the beacon of hope and salvation.

Dynamic Theological Seminary has established itself as a burgeoning center for religious education dedicated to fostering innovative approaches to faith-based leadership. The Seminary, through her academic performance, remains one of the fastest-growing seminaries in the world. This year’s convocation ceremony exemplifies the institution’s mission: a diverse group of men and women from various backgrounds, united by their dedication to service and spiritual growth.

The graduation ceremony on March 20th, 2026, highlighted the evolving landscape of theological education—one that embraces innovation while remaining steadfast in foundational spiritual principles. As these 24 graduates step into their respective roles within faith communities worldwide, they carry a legacy of dedication, learning, and service.

In a momentous celebration of academic achievement, Ajanwachuku Samuel was honored as the best graduating student. He distinguished himself through exceptional academic excellence, demonstrating unwavering dedication throughout his academic  journey with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of  5.0 scale—an impressive feat in global  competitive tertiary education system.

Dynamic Theological Seminary has also been a hub of spiritual formation and community engagement. The seminary has always emphasized the importance of holistic development, encouraging students to not only grow intellectually but also emotionally and spiritually.
